thing as it is, without prior rules about what it should be.

Lalalaa don't know what to call this

Started a youtube chanel the other day, just for the funsies. I've done a few covers so far, and I may upload some stuff I've written depending on how things go and whatever. This is a cover of Crazy by Gnarls Barkley....so yeah, check it out and I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on it:)

A rather cheesy post.. but everyone likes a bit of cheese.

I've noticed quite a lot of people I know worrying about how they appear to other people, and trying to change who they are because they feel insecure. Everyone feels insecure, even(although it's hard to believe)  that girl you see walking down the street with legs that seem to go on forever and a face like Zoey Deschanel. Even her. Ofcourse, wanting to loose a bit of weight in order to look better for the summer ahead is usual. As is the idea that everyone changes over time, god if we all stayed the same all our life things would become extremely dull. However, if you're one of the many people out there who are trying to change their personality due to something someone said or a lack of confidence in yourself, then don't! You are who you are, and trying to change that for someone else is the worst thing you can do. I, like everyone else, have an on going list of insecurities but I've realised that whenever I try to change who I am, I end up feeling really low and sacrificing things that I love most. They say the greatest happiness of all is finding happiness in yourself and somehow, even though I've not completely found that yet, I believe it's true.

Okay, so that was extremely cheesy I know! But it's something I feel very strongly about. Hope everyone has been having an amazing new year. much love

NEW YEAR

Firstly, I'd like to let anyone who is a fan of the Vaccines know that you will NOT be disappointed if you go see them live. It genuinely made my new year's eve! The street party was so lovely...there's something really special about the fact everyone comes together at new years. It's definitely one of my favorite times in the year!

I took this photo of them-FRONT ROW. Got shoved about so much but hell was it worth it!

The other day I was reading an article by Jameela Jamil about how to look at the new year. And she wrote about how we all say ''tomorrow, tomorrow I will start my diet'' or ''I'll make up with her, tomorrow'' and how we should all consider sorting things out TODAY. Time is precious, and we can't afford to constantly put things off until tomorrow, because realistically tomorrow rarely comes.  My gran died a few months ago, and I used to always say to my mum ''I'll write to her tomorrow'' or ''can't we go and see her another time'' because I was too wrapped up in my own world. And before I knew it, it was too late to send a letter. Too late to go and see her. So, this new year my resolution is to live today, and not tomorrow.

EDINBURGH'S NEW YEAR SKITE SCENE

CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE VACCINES. IN THREE DAYS I WILL BE SEEING THEM LIVE AT THE EDINBURGH STREET PARTY. AAAAAH SO EXCITED!
New Year should be a good one this year. Still have no idea what to wear though! I think velvet is a good way to go and I love both of these two dresses, but somehow being outside in the middle of winter in Scotland...for the whole night doesn't scream ''wear short dresses''. So maybe these are a no-go! However, I do want to make an effort.

So, I think I'll do some fancy up do with my hair and have glamorous make-up on..and then wear something rather like Caggie Dunlop off Made in Chelsea- smart but warm too!

BLOGGING. And a bit about me.

Okay, so I'm new to this whole blog thing, and who knows maybe I lead the most boring life that no one will want to read about! Wouldn't be surprised...but anyway, any comments about how I can improve my blog or any cool things I can put on it i'd greatly appreciate..I have the technical ability of a spoon, but I can try!
So, a bit about me.. Well, I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world-Edinburgh. It is ofcourse freezing and our seasons consist of winter all year round, apart from May and June.. but I still love it. Music is deffinitely one of the top things I couldn't live without. I'm obbsessed with The Vaccines, The Wombats, Bon Iver, Coldplay, The naked and famous and the strokes to name but a few! I live for made in chelsea and I think London's the coolest place- it's a second home to me. I've harldy any scottish in me at all, apart from my accent. If I could marry someone like Robet Sheehan, life would be so fine.
So, I think that's just about all I have to say, for now.
